Business Agility 4 Startups

  • Primary Objectives
    • To support and coach the Business & Technology teams in the delivery Value and Outcomes to meet the Strategy and Vision of the Business
    • To prepare the Start-up for Investment and/or IPO by ensuring that Business Agility is built into the Start-up’s DNA
    • Assist the CEO in developing the Start-up Culture to attract the best and most appropriate talent to drive the Start-up to success
  • Commitment from the Start-up CEO
    • Ensure the Start-up team is made available to collaborate during the Agile ceremonies – about 3-5 hours per working week
    • Review Value at the end of each Program Increment (8 weeks/4 Sprints) as part of the Retrospective
  • Commitment from the Agile Coach
    • Educate the team on Agile Principles and Mindset
    • Facilitate 2 weekly sprints for delivery cadence or Kanban (or as agreed)
    • Facilitate 3 Agile Streams within the Business
      • Technology / Business / Investment
    • Track delivery in Jira (Kanban/Sprint) & Confluence (Intranet) – or similar tool
    • Support Operational Readiness for Technology
    • 2-3 days per week – working primarily Remote
    • Be a mentor and servant / leader for the CEOs & Business
    • Facilitating ALL the agile ceremonies
      • Planning / Retrospective / Showcase / Daily Stand-ups
  • Shared Commitment
    • Establishing the initial Vision and Roadmap
    • Initiate the Lean Start-up Cycle
    • Identifying the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and additional Program Increment (PI) potential Features
    • Defining the initial Solution Intent
    • Prioritizing the initial Program Backlog for PI Planning
    • Establishing execution responsibilities
